Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) is the largest career student business organization in the world with over 230,000 members. FBLA inspires and prepares students to become community-minded business leaders through career preparation, community service, academic competition and leadership experiences. To be a member, you must:
attend meetings on a regular basis. Meetings are Thursdays after school.
have at least a 2.5 unweighted GPA to be a member.
have at least a 3.0 unweighted GPA to be an officer.
National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) is a nonprofit organization established to recognize excellence in workforce education and is considered America's highest award for excellence in career and technical education. For more information: NTHS
To be eligible in New Hanover County, you must:
be a junior or senior.
enrolled or have completed a 200 level CTE course.
have a 3.25 or higher overall unweighted GPA.
have a 3.5 or higher unweighted GPA in CTE courses.
