*Values and nurtures intelligence in children and youth so that they may reach their potential and encourages them to create their own opportunities for growth.

*Screens and identifies students for AIG services including those from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds who demonstrate outstanding abilities and achievement through the use of varied assessments and multiple criteria.
