We have a number of resources for students and faculty to explore and use. They are provided free and are useful as tools for research projects as well as ways to learn about the topics you love and want to know more about. Check them out!

NC WiseOwl--Paid for by the state, NC WiseOwl has online encyclopedias, videos, and databases that can help all students learn about subjects they are interested in. Students can choose to read articles or have articles read to them using the audio function of the resources.

Epic Books Can't find the book you need on the library shelf? Try Epic books! Over 35,000 books that you can read for information or entertainment. Need research? Try Epic! Just want a cool book to read? Epic can do that too! Ask your teacher for your login information.

CLASS Project is a partnership between New Hanover County Public Libraries and New Hanover County Public Schools. Students can access all Public Library Resources with their student ID number (lunch number). Resources available include Tumblebooks, Research Databases, NC Kids Digital Library and Tutor.com--free online tutoring help. Great resources that will help your student find the help they need to excel in everything they do.

Storyline Online--A service from the Screen Actors Guild that showcases professional actors read-a-louds. Free and fun!

Fact Monster--Need information for your science project? How about finding out what happened on this day in history? Want to work on your math skills? Fact Monster has interactive games and activities as well as information you may need on a bunch of different topics. Give it a try!
