What is expected of Battle of the Books Team Members? First students must enjoy reading. They must commit to going to weekly meetings. They must work hard in classes and follow STAR (Safe, Thoughtful, Accountable, Responsible) Student expectations.

NC Kids Digital Library--All books included in Battle of the Books can be accessed as e-books for free through the NC Kids Digital Library. If your student has a phone, tablet or access to a computer, they can check out the book, keep it on their device for two weeks and read it. Just click on the link, search for the book and download!
Battle Questions--Snipes Academy has purchased a subscription to Battle Questions which gives students mock quizzes and activities used to help prepare them for the competition. See Ms. Menzies or Ms. Kelly for login information.
