Breakfast

-Breakfast is free for all students, go directly to the cafeteria upon arrival, then proceed to the classroom.

Class Schedule

7:30-7:55 Arrival-

Arrival Responsibilities:

place belongings, including book bag, lunch, and communication folder in designated areas.
make lunch selection on smart board
use restroom, wash hands
check supplies and get what is needed, crayons, pencils etc.
complete morning work provided, or "Listen to Reading" on an ipad.

7:50-8:10 Morning Meeting

We take time to build a strong classroom community by sharing about ourselves, and learning about our school and classroom expectations.

8:10-8:40 Fundations Phonics Instruction

8:40-10:00 Reading Fundamentals Reading Instruction

10:00-10:30 Writing Fundamentals

10:30-10:50 Calendar time and Prep for lunch

10:50-11:10 Lunch is provided at no cost to all Wrightsboro students, there is no need to fill-out any forms.

11:15-12:25 Math

12:25-12:55 Power-Up-Targeted skills practice and interventions to re-teach, reinforce, and enrich instruction.

12:50 Snack

12:55-1:15 Recess

1:30-2:10 Specials-

2:10-2:30 Closing Circle

2:25 Dismissal-Walkers, Car and Van riders are escorted to dismissal locations.

2:30 Dismissal-Bus riders are escorted to buses

Note: Social Studies and Science are integrated into all subject areas across the curriculum.
