Wrightsboro Elementary School is a special place, founded in a community of families and businesses that continue to support and provide the warmth of a true "neighborhood school".

I am proud to say that I have been a part of the Cool Cat family for over 20 years! My passion is introducing young students to the wonders of learning and their own limitless potential! Some of my favorite things in the classroom are: the joy of reading children's books, guiding children to become joyful readers themselves, and the role that technology plays in education to prepare our students for their bright futures in an ever-changing global society.

My husband and I moved to Wilmington from upstate NY in 1995. Together we planted a muscadine grape vineyard in Burgaw, NC. In our spare time we love to go hiking, often on camping trips, mostly in the beautiful state parks of NC. We also love spending time with family here, and in NY. We have one daughter, a grandson, and cat named Charlie.
