LEGO Self-Portraits

Now that we have created our imganitve homes from last week, we are going to be creating artwork of ourselves to live in our imaganitve homes. We will be creating self-portraits, but with a fun twist! This week you will make yourself as a LEGO character! Watch the video below to learn more about self-portraits and as I demonstrate how to make yourself into a LEGO person!

Creating a LEGO Self-Portrait

In this video you will see some portraits and self-portraits created by famous artsits, and look at their similarities and differences. I then demonstrate how we are going to be making self-portraits in the style of LEGOS! You can print off the LEGO figures below or watch as I demonstrate how to draw your own LEGO character! Remember we are make SELF-PORTRAITS, so artwork of ourselves, so be sure to make your LEGO look like YOU!

Printable Materials

Print off the blank LEGO figures and draw and color it to turn it into a LEGO YOU! There are also some other fun LEGO activities you can print off and complete if you would like!

You can use these small LEGO figures for your self-portrait. Eight print per page, so use the extras as practice, or make portraits of your family or friends as LEGO people!

You can print this one off for a larger, full page LEGO figure that gives you a little more space to draw and color to turn it into a self-portrait!
