Many of you may recall learning in class about symmetry and how it can be used in art to create balance. This week, review what we have learned in class and practice creating symmetrical drawings. Reviewing and practicing this week will help us in our project and artmaking next week!

In this video I will demonstrate how to use the printable materials below to practice drawing a symmetrical picture. I also show you some alternative ways to draw a symmetrical picture if you can't print the ones below.

Print one, two, or all of the pictures below and then draw the symmetrical half. If you can't print the items below, create your own symmetrical drawing of your choice, making sure whatever you draw could be split into to equal halves. In the video above, I demonstrate how to complete the pictures below or draw your own so make sure to watch it before getting started.
