English Department test days are Monday and Wednesday
Cell Phone Policy:
This year, the State of North Carolina has banned cell phones, smart watches, AirPods, headphones, etc, from the classroom. Students will be required to place their phones in a phone rack in the front of the room. All other electronic devices should be in their book bags. Failure to do so will result in taking the phone for the duration of the class. Cell phones are a huge distraction in our classrooms. I also understand that terrible things happen, and we need to be able to communicate with our families. Should we experience an emergency, students will be able to retrieve their phones.
Laney's tardy policy:
First tardy: Verbal warning
Second tardy: call home
Third tardy: referral to the Dean
Please be on time!
No one will be allowed to leave class during the first 15 minutes and the last 15 minutes of class!
Tutoring is every Wednesday during Flex.
