Holly Tree is a wonderful community to be a part of. This is my 26th year teaching art in New Hanover County. Helping students explore their creativity during art class is very exciting! In order to teach the Standard Course of Study, I provide students with a wide variety of art experiences. We use many different art tools and supplies.

I like to keep things interesting for students while they discover new techniques and explore the cultural and historical connections of art.

I grew up in a beautiful part of northern New Jersey just 35 miles outside

of New York City. I enjoyed visiting the Met and other museums as a young artist. I attended UNC Greensboro. I majored in Art Education and began teaching in Wilmington after graduation. My husband and I and our 3 children enjoy living in Wilmington. I am a painter at heart. However I use all kinds of arts and crafts materials at home.
