1.  Q:  How often does my child have art class?

A:  Once per week.

2.   Q:   What kinds of art materials do students use?

A:  Students use a wide variety of materials including tempera paint, watercolors, clay, papier-mache, and more!  I typically stick to washable paints and markers however, it is best to wear 

3.  Q:  How many projects will my child create?

A:  Many of our projects take more than 1 session to complete.  Therefore you can expect your child to create 3 or 4 pieces each 9 weeks.

4.  Q:  When will my child bring artwork home?

A:  I am lucky that part of my job is to display artwork in our school hall, art shows, and occasionally in the community.  Therefore, I hold onto art for a while in order to do so and then it will be sent home.  

5.  Q:  When is the annual Independence Mall Art Show?

A:  The date for this will be announced, however it is always in the spring.

6.  Q:  Will my child's artwork be chosen for the mall show? 

A:  It is my goal to put up as many pieces as possible in order to showcase many of our students.  Usually I can fit about 100!
