Grading Scale How am I graded in Spanish class?
Remember we are on a journey to communicate and connect with real people who speak real Spanish. For this reason, I will grade you based on your proficiency in communicating in the language. We will assess/grade our performance based on proficiency levels that tell us what we CAN do with the language. Please read all feedback I give you because you will often have an opportunity to raise your score if needed.
(IC label - Summative) Major assessments (Proficiency checks showing what you can do / Projects) – 60% of final grade
(IC label - Formative) Minor assessments (Practice activities, exit slips) – 40% of final grade
