Welcome to APES - Advanced Placement Environmental Science!
This course is designed to provide you with a college-level class while you are still in high school. The expectation is that you will take the AP exam in May and that you will score high enough to receive college credit.
Welcome letter - subject to change as needed.
You should bring to class daily:
your notes for the year
paper/pencil/black pen/red pen/green pen (pens cannot be markers)
hand held pencil sharpener
textbook
colored pencils
non-graphing, scientific calculator
binder/folder/notebook to keep handouts and notes you've written
You will need internet and printer access for homework assignments. Additional supplies will be needed later in the school year.

You will need to use dimensional analysis throughout this course and on the exam. If you are not comfortable with this process, watch the video below to learn/relearn the steps involved. Please note, on your assignments for my class I will expect to see conversion factors listed, all units appropriately placed and crossed through, and math completed.
