Welcome to Third Grade! Get ready to watch us learn, grow, and have an amazing year together!
This will be my tenth year as part of the Codington Cougar family. During my teaching career, I have had the opportunity to work in Special Education, and I am excited to begin my sixth year as a third-grade teacher here at Codington Elementary.
Originally from Maryland, I have called the Wilmington area home for more than 20 years and now live in Carolina Beach. I am also a very proud mom of two wonderful children. My son, Carson, is a kind and diligent worker, studying cyber security at UNCW. My daughther, Ryan, is so creative, and ready to prove her independendence as a freshman at Application State University.
When I'm not in the classroom, I enjoy gardening, relaxing at the beach, putting together jigsaw puzzles, and getting lost in a good book in one of my favorite quiet spots.
I believe that learning should be exciting, engaging, and filled with opportunities to grow. I am passionate about helping every student discover their strengths, build confidence, and develop a lifelong love of learning. I look forward to partnering with you to make this a fun, successful, and memorable third-grade year!
