Honors Health Science II

Honors Health Science II focuses on healthcare foundation standards, safety, infection control, professionalism, regulating agencies as well as the cardiopulmonary system. HS II is a prerequisite to Nursing Fundamentals.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is part of the course, as well as a Portfolio and student healthcare projects.

• BLS certification may be held during an announced week of class. It is 20% of your classwork so your attendance is very important that week.

• Supplies: 3-ring notebook for Portfolio if not doing ePortfolio. 3-ring notebook when returning face to face.
