Standard 4 Personal and Professional Development

The LEA recruits and retains highly qualified professionals and provides relevant and effective professional development concerning the needs of gifted learners that is on-going and comprehensive.

 NHCS Credentials for AIG is a professional development workshop that combines online activities and face-to-face meetings.  The credentials course is offered at each elementary and middle school and facilitated by the AIG specialist.  The purpose of the training is to assist all teachers in recognizing the characteristics of gifted learners, understand the social and emotional needs of AIG students, and differentiate the curriculum at advanced levels.
