Paraprofessional

The New Franklin R-1 School District is seeking a full-time Paraprofessional to support students in grades K–12 for the 2026-2027 school year. The paraprofessional will assist in delivering instructional support and reinforcing classroom learning. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about education, enjoy working with children of varying ages and abilities, and are committed to supporting student growth and success. Substitute Teachers (sub application)
The New Franklin R-1 School district are looking for substitute teachers for the 2025-26 school year. If interested, please contact the Superintendent's Office at 660-848-2141 to secure an application. Substitute Bus Driver (staff application)

The New Franklin R-1 School District is accepting applications for a substitute school bus driver. Bus drivers are responsible for operating a school bus and transporting school-aged children and other authorized personnel safely and efficiently over specified routes from school and various activities. Job duties include, but are not limited to, conducting pre-trip inspections; observing safety regulations and policies, and enforcing student discipline. Applicants must pass a background check and have a MO Class B driver’s license with passenger and school bus endorsements. Training will be provided.
