About the Teacher

My name is Mrs. Lorino, and I am a Pennsylvania certified teacher in the areas of Early Childhood Education (Pre-K-4) and Special Education (Pre-K-8). I am a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Holy Family University with a dual degree in my areas of certification and an autism endorsement. I have recently received my Master's of Education this past May! This coming school year will be my fifth year as a teacher at New Foundations. This is my third year as a teacher in 3C! I have also directed New Foundations’ Choir and music for our our school's productions of "Beauty and the Beast", "Shrek the Musical", "Hairspray", "Little Shop of Horrors", and "The Jungle Book". I have worked as a lead academic teacher for New Foundations’ summer camp in 2015 and 2017 as well.

As a teacher, I feel that it is imperative to understand each student’s learning style for success in the classroom and to differentiate instruction when necessary in order to meet his or her needs. I also believe that students benefit most from positive reinforcement classroom behavior models.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me at any time! You will be able to reach me via e-mail at klorino@nfcs.k12.pa.us. If you have any information you’d like to share with me about your child (i.e. learning style, strengths, needs, medical concerns, etc.) of which I should be aware, please e-mail me! I am looking forward to an outstanding year, and I look forward to meeting you!
