Athletic Department Notes
Coaching/Athletic Department Openings: We are in need of coaches or advisors to fill the following positions for the 2025-26 school year. If you are interested in any of these, please contact Athletic Director David Losey at dlosey@newriegelschools.org
Athletic Booster Meetings: The New Riegel Athletic Boosters normally meet the first Wednesday of every month at 8:15 at Left Field or the New Riegel Moose. Please consider attending the meetings and getting involved with the boosters.
Sports Physicals: All athletes must have a physical on file in the athletic department office before participating in any practices, open gyms, or weight-lifting activities. Please turn in all physicals to Mr. Losey's mailbox.
The steps below can be followed to update Final Forms and print off the physical form. If you need the physical form before the rollover, please use the following link to print it: https://www.ohsaa.org/medicine/physicalexamform
If your son or daughter needs a sports physical for the upcoming school year, please visit Final Forms at this link: https://newriegel-oh.finalforms.com/ to complete the forms that you are required to take with you to your appointment.
Once logged in, please completed these steps:
Manage the sports your son/daughter plans to participate in during the 2025-26 school year. If no sports are added, the physical form cannot be printed.
Complete your student's Health History & Medical Profile as well as the parent portion of the signatures pages for the OHSAA Authorization/PPE Physician Questions forms.
Under "OHSAA PPE Physical (for Physicians)", clink the link to print out the OHSAA PPE Physical Form to take to the appointment.
Once the physical has been completed, you can either upload the document into Final Forms or turn it in to the high school office.

New Riegel Sideline Store: BSN is now offering a Sideline Store for New Riegel Athletic Apparel and Accessories. In order to access our sideline store, go to www.bsnsports.com. At the top of the screen, click on “Sideline Store”. From there, you can select from hundreds of different items to have screen printed or embroidered with any of the New Riegel logos at any time.
Please keep in mind that these items may appear to be a little more expensive than a normal item…but remember that you can literally order one screen-printed item at a time (businesses normally like to have multiple items to screen print to cut down on screen-changing costs). The athletic department also receives 10% of all sales.
*** If you have any issues with these orders, please contact BSN (BSN will only deal with the customer who places the order).
