School-Wide Expectations
All classroom and specials teacher will use the first several days at the beginning of each year to take the students around the school to stations, where the skills are taught in setting specific locations. For example, a bus will be brought to the school and the children will practice lining up, entering the bus, sitting on the bus, and exiting the bus safely following our school-wide expectations. The following modes of teaching will be used for these lessons...verbal instructions, modeling, video demonstrations, guided practice, collaborative practice, and independent practice.
