President (Fall): Andrew Contreras
Andrew is a junior at Notre Dame studying Applied Math, Economics, and Actuarial Science. He has passed exams P and FM. Born and raised in Chicago, he has spent the past 3 years residing in Stanford Hall and is currently studying abroad in London, England. This summer, Andrew will intern at Deloitte as an Actuarial Summer Scholar in their Government and Public Services Department.
Outside of school, Andrew enjoys reading, poker, golfing, skiing, attending mass, and Chicago sports.
President (Spring): Cindy (Yingxin) Liu
Cindy is serving as the club’s co-president during the spring 2026 semester. She is a senior majoring in Economics and ACMS with minors in Actuarial Science and Japanese. She is originally from Beijing, China, and used to live in Lyons Hall on campus and now lives off-campus. Cindy passed Exam P, FM, and SRM and interned in RGA last summer in Chesterfield. As for her interests, she is also a member of ND Chorale and enjoys singing there. Reach out to Cindy for any questions regarding the actuarial minor or Economics & ACMS majors.
Vice President: Katherine Tracy
Katie is from Oak Lawn, Illinois and is majoring in Business Analytics through the Business Honors Program with minors in Actuarial Science and Theology. She lived in PDub this past year and will be living off-campus next year. This summer, she will be working in Chicago as a Retirement Consulting Actuarial Intern with WTW, and she has passed Exams FM, P, and SRM. On campus, she serves as VP of the Women’s Club Basketball team and also works as a Rec Attendant for RecSports. During her free time, she enjoys running, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
Treasurer: Kyle Smith
Kyle is a sophomore studying Finance and ACMS with minors in Actuarial Science, Energy Studies, and the Business Honors Program. He lives in Dunne Hall on campus, and is originally from Cincinnati, OH. Next summer, he will be interning in Chicago as a life consulting actuarial intern with Oliver Wyman, and he previously completed the Oliver Wyman Actuarial Bootcamp and CAS Student Summer Program. On campus, he works for Graduate Business Career Development and is involved with SIBC and the Kellogg Developing Researchers program. Kyle also enjoys running, traveling, reading, and hiking. Secretary: Maeve Begley
Maeve is a junior studying Math and Computer Science. She is from Palos Heights, IL and now lives at Saint Mary's. Maeve has passed Exams FM and P. On campus, she is on the Irish dance team. Maeve also enjoys travel and studied abroad in London last summer! Reach out with any questions you may have!
Club Communications: Christine Hruby
Christine Hruby is a senior from New Jersey studying ACMS and lives in Welsh Fam. She participated in AON’s actuarial career discovery program. She enjoys playing tennis in her free time.
Club Communications: Iris Choi
Iris is a sophomore majoring in ACMS and sociology. At Notre Dame, Adeline is involved in the Kellogg Developing Research Program and has worked on anthropology research with faculty. She is excited to work with the club this year!
Event Planner: Nathan Cox
Nathan Cox is the club's Event Coordinator for the 2025-26 school year. He is a sophomore ACMS major with minors in Actuarial Science, Data Science, and German. Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, Nathan lives in Morrissey Hall on campus. Nathan has passed Exam P and is taking FM this spring. This upcoming summer, Nathan will be an Actuarial Intern in Boston with Liberty Mutual. Outside of ASC, Nathan is involved with volunteering, psychometrics research, and is a teaching assistant for the ACMS department. In his free time, Nathan loves hiking, traveling, and working out. Nathan is excited for a great year with ASC and is happy to help answer any questions!
