Congratulations to the cast of Come From Away!  In addition to the role(s) in which they have been cast, every actor will also be an integral part of the ensemble and will be featured onstage throughout the production.  This is truly an ensemble-driven show, and we are excited to see this group of students bring the people and stories of Come From Away to life!

Thank you to everyone who auditioned!  Casting this production was especially difficult, which is a testament to the preparation, professionalism, and talent demonstrated by everyone who auditioned.  We know that the audition process can be stressful, but it is also an incredibly valuable learning experience — a chance for actors to challenge themselves, reflect on their performances, and develop a skill set that will serve them well throughout their theatrical journeys.

Most importantly, we are incredibly proud of every student who took the chance to put themselves out there, step outside of their comfort zone, and share their talents with us.  Auditioning takes courage, and we hope you recognize what an accomplishment it is simply to have taken that step.

Please Note: As outlined in the audition expectations form, actors have until the beginning of the first rehearsal - 2:45 p.m. on Tuesday - to decline their role in the production.  Any drops after that point will be taken into consideration when casting in the future.  The directors encourage all involved to press pause and continue treating everyone with kindness and respect as we all process the posting of this list. 

We are so excited to begin this journey together and cannot wait to see what this wonderful company creates!

The Jimmy Awards Qualifying Roles in this production are Beverley Bass, Claude Elliott, Diane Gray, and Hannah O'Rourke . They are eligible for new awards category Best Actor / Best Actress in a Jimmy Awards Qualifying Role and for Best Supporting Actor or Actress at the CAPA Marquee Awards. In addition, the following roles are also eligible for the Best Supporting Actor or Actress CAPA Marquee award: Nick Marson, Kevin Tuerff, Bonnie Harris, and Beulah Davis. All of these roles will be adjudicated on Friday, November 20th and Saturday, November 21st (7 p.m.). 

Understudies will perform in the following shows: 

• Thursday, November 19th: Bonnie Harris, Beulah Davis, Annette

• Saturday, November 21st (2 p.m.): Beverley Bass, Diane Gray, Hannah O'Rourke

Our first rehearsal is on Tuesday, September 22nd from 2:45 p.m. - 5:15 p.m. in the HS Band Room.
