"PUFFS" Auditions
PUFFS, or Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic Auditions
General Information
In order to be considered for the cast of PUFFS, or Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic, students need to perform a 1-minute monologue for the directors on Monday, January 22nd.
Before auditioning, the directors would recommend reading the play and reviewing the list of characters in the show. Also, please be sure to review the page, "How We Cast a Show," for more information about the casting process.

For this show, we will have two casts, each with at least 15 actors. We plan to cast the roles as follows:

Megan Jones
Narrator
Ernie Mac and others
Hannah and others
J. Finch Fletchley and others
Leeane and others
Sally Perks and others
Susie Bones and others
Cedric and others
Mr. Voldy and others
Harry and others.
2 - 5 additional actors playing various roles
All actors, with the exception of those playing Wayne, Oliver, Megan, and the Narrator, will play multiple roles.

Dates and Times
Monologue auditions will be held in-person on Monday, January 22nd from 2:45 p.m. - 5:45 p.m. in the Mini Theatre.
For these auditions, you need to prepare a 1-minute monologue from a play or musical.
During your audition for the directors, you will perform your 1-minute monologue. At the beginning of your audition, we ask that you slate with the following information:
Name
Grade
Titles of the piece you are performing
Name of the character you are portraying
Monologue Audition Procedures
This year, the monologue auditions are open call, which means that you do not need to sign up for an audition time.
On January 22nd, please plan to arrive at the Mini Theater by 2:45 p.m. When you arrive, you will sign in with the stage managers. If you need to leave early, let the stage managers know, and they will ensure that you are one of the first people to audition. Remember, on the day of your monologue audition, fill out the audition form with all of the requisite information.
Callbacks will be held on Tuesday, January 23rd from 2:45 p.m. - 5 p.m.

When choosing a monologue, the directors recommend selecting one that showcases your natural talents, features a character that is relatively close in age to your own, and is something that you enjoy.
Required Forms
The following forms are required for auditions:
Audition Form (Complete and Submit)
Parent / Guardian and Student Participation Agreement (Print and Sign or Sign and Email)
Parent / Guardian and Student Expectations Sheet (Print and Sign or Sign and Email)
Please complete and submit the audition form by the time of your audition on Monday, January 22nd.
Performers must bring their signed forms -- Parent / Student Participation Agreement, Parent / Guardian and Student Expectations Sheet -- to their audition or email them to Mr. Lemberg at lemberg.1@napls.us.
If a student does not turn in ALL REQUIRED auditions forms by the time of their audition, they will not be permitted to complete the audition process.
