Copyright-Friendly Materials

Did you know that EVERY picture, song, essay, or other original creation is automatically granted a copyright license?  That includes everything you write, photograph or create. Copyright protection laws prompted Creative Commons.  

Crea​​tive Commons is a place where you may grant permission to use your original works as well as use the works of others. There are many types of licenses provided by Creative Commons. Click here to do a Creative Commons search for usable videos, pictures, clip art, and music.

Google also gives its users the ability to search for things not copyright restricted. (See picture below.)

• Choose the type of search you want to conduct.  (Ex. images or videos)

• Click on "Search Tools."

• Determine what kind of "reuse" you want all your results to have.
