Mrs. Stevens

I grew up in Rochester, MN and went on to attend college at Bemidji State University where I got my Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. I student taught in 3rd grade and then went on to substitute teach in the Rochester School District. After moving to Las Vegas in 2002, I taught preschool at LaPetite Academy for 1 year and then 3rd grade for 1 year. I moved to Oslo with my husband in 2004 and began teaching preschool again in Manvel, ND at the Christian Center. I then taught preschool at the Air Force Base for 5 years before opening my own family daycare out of my home. I did this for 6 years. I am now in my 9th year teaching preschool at Sacred Heart and this is my 24th year teaching.  I have a step son named Brendon who recently graduated from the University of Minnesota-Duluth with a teaching/special education degree and is now in his first year teaching in Brookings, S.D.  I also have a daughter named Bryn who is 12 and is in 7th Grade here at Sacred Heart. My husband Patrick is a full time firefighter at the Air Force Base and is also a volunteer firefighter in our small town of Oslo. I am so excited to start a new year in the Preschool classroom at Sacred Heart and I look forward to helping your child grow, learn, and achieve new skills!
