All current Students and Faculty will be issued an EWCNM Account. Students and Faculty are responsible for retrieving all correspondence sent from the EWCNM administration to their MyEWCNM Email account.
General use of MyEWCNM is governed by the EWCNM Computing and Network Resources Policy
The maximum number of recipients that you can send one email to is 50.
Mass e-mail should only be sent to students for the purpose of making significant announcements, conveying important College business, or providing reminders of College events. Such e-mail should be compelling, brief and to the point.
As a security measure to prevent potential viruses, your mail account does not allow users to receive executable files (such as files ending in .exe) that could contain damaging executable code. Any message of this type sent to your mail account will be bounced back to the sender.
Your mail account allows you to send and receive zipped attachments, as long as they don't contain executable files.
With your mail account, you can send and receive messages up to 20 megabytes (MB) in size. However, the precise amount allowable will depend on the attachment.
All sites built within MyEWCNM must have the prior approval of the administration.
Students who withdraw from all their classes will have their MyEWCNM account disabled.
Graduating students will have their MyEWCNM account access disabled after the 10th day after the term ends.
All content posted within the MyEWCNM domain is the sole property of the East West College of Natural Medicine. EWCNM reserves the right to disable all accounts and/or remove content at any time.
Unlike a personal google account, Google Apps for Education does not display advertisements within applications, and as such Google does not view the content of email messages, calendar appointments or documents. The MyEWCNM site is private and not available for public viewing on the Internet.
