About your teacher...

G’day Tigers! I am very excited to return to the College Prep family this year. I have been teaching since 2003 and this wonderful career has taken me around the world. I have a double degree (B Teach / B Arts) from the University of Newcastle (NSW, Australia). I have taught in High Schools and Middle Schools in Australia, England and the United States.

My wife and I moved to California from New Jersey - chasing the perfect weather for which San Diego is world-famous. We have been here since 2016, and we are really enjoying this lovely city.

Outside of work, I have a range of interests. You might find me at the beach or going for a run – though rarely both at the same time. Or, I may be at the San Diego Zoo, speaking Australian to the Rainbow Lorikeets. Now that I am getting too old to play sports, I am very enthusiastic about viewing sports. Many, many sports. I look forward to talking about sports with you – particularly if we are discussing the Parramatta Eels, Tottenham Hotspur, Utah Jazz, NY Giants, and Australia (in absolutely any sport, but especially cricket and soccer). Also, I enjoy reading my favourite authors: Oscar Wilde, William Shakespeare, Banjo Paterson, George Orwell, Ernest Hemingway, Karl Pilkington…

Thank you Tigers. I look forward to sharing the academic year with you!
