Welcome to 3rd grade! Since I will be spending a great deal of time with your child, I’d like to take this opportunity to tell you a few things about myself, both personally and professionally.
This will be my 21st year of teaching and I love it! I received my B.S. from Missouri Western State University with a degree in Elementary Education. I received my Masters from Missouri Baptist University with a degree in Classroom Teaching and my second Masters in Elementary Administration. I recently completed my Educational Specialist degree and am currently working on my Doctorate.
I have been married to my amazing husband Randy for 21 years. We have two amazing and beautiful children Jacob 18 and Anna 15. Jacob is leaving this year to attend college at SIUC to study aviation.

My favorite thing to do, besides spending time with my family, is teaching. I love watching the kids grow and learn throughout the year. I also love reading with them, listening to their stories, that they have created, and doing fun hands on projects. Each day is a new and exciting day!
Each day students will be using the 8 Pillars of Success: Communication, Critical thinking, Creativity, Collaboration, Citizenship, Respectfulness, Responsibility, and Resilience!
LET THE LEARNING BEGIN!
