How to create Mcafee Account?

1. Open your web browser and visit - mcafee.com/activate

2. When you reach on the main page of McAfee, you will notice the Account option on the upper right corner of the page, tap on it. You are then supposed to choose for the My Account option from it.

3. Drag your cursor and tap on the Register Now button to open the account creation application form.

4. You will be presented with a McAfee sign up page, where you are supposed to add all the details that are required for setting up an account. For this, you have to insert your first name and last name, valid username, add the password that you want to fix with this account. Keep one thing in mind while building the password that it should not be linked with any other account and you have created the password as per the given criteria on the page.

5. Soon after this, to check for the security of your information with us it is advised that you must go through the two most important documents which are License Agreement and Privacy Policy. In short, go through these two documents carefully.

6. After going through these, simply choose the I Agree option to conclude the McAfee Account Sign Up process.

7. Finally, verify the Confirmation mail that you received on the above-mentioned user ID just by pressing the Verify tab.

How can I change my password?

• 1. On your Subscription Information page, click Edit my profile.

  2. Log in to your McAfee account.

  3. In the left pane, click My Profile.

  4. In the Account Information table, click Update.

  5. Type your password in the Password Field, and type it again in the

  6. Re-Enter Password field.

  7. In the Current Password field type your password. Remember to type your existing password, not your new one.

  8. Click Save.
