To play Instrument Bingo with grades K & 1 - have them listen and find instruments as a group by displaying this card on the board and marking them with dry erase.

When trying to decide what an instrument might look like I often ask them to answer:

• How is it being played? (Hit, blown into, strummed, bowed?)

• What does it sound like it is made of? (Metal, wood, string?)

• Does it sound big, medium, or small? (Low, medium, high)
