About Mr. Hoagland

I am a native of Nanuet, New York, where I learned to play the clarinet in the public school when I was in the fourth grade. More than fifty years later, I’m still making music! My mission is to give the gift of lifelong music-making to my students. Outside of school I am a freelance performer on clarinet and saxophone; I have played with my church worship group, the Colby Symphony, Maine Pro Musica, and the Bangor Symphony. My wife and I have seven children and nine grandchildren. This is my 21st year teaching the “A,B,C’s” - Albion, Benton, and Clinton schools - and I am looking forward to a terrific year!
