ANNOUNCEMENT

We would like you to know that this catalog is currently not up to date. We are in the process of updating our files and will update this site at a later time (once we know exactly what we have right now).

While we have many varieties of seed, many of them are available in limited amounts. Please email Mr. Neil Lash

Neil_Lash@msad40.org to inquire about the availability of the variety in which you are interested. Then you can fill out the order form linked here and send it in with your donation.

We ask for the following levels of donations:

$3.00 for small seeds (tomatoes, etc.)

$4.00 for large seeds (beans, squash, cucumbers, etc.)

$5.00 for potatoes, garlic, cuttings, roots/rhizomes such as Jerusalem artichoke

For each order approximately 30 seeds of requested variety will be sent to the address provided. We cannot send garlic until after the mid-July harvest.

Our students are also involved in restoring the American Chestnut (Castanea dentata) to the Maine forest. Check the American Chestnut Foundation for more information.

WE HAVE LIMITED QUANTITIES OF CERTAIN SEEDS. When our seed stocks run low and we are not able to offer a certain variety, we will substitute a similar variety, but be sure to be clear whether you would like a substitute or a refund of your money.

EXTRA CATALOGS can be ordered by using the order form above. They may be purchased for $2.

One of our goals is to encourage other schools to start gardening and seed saving programs. If you are an educational institution and you wish to start a program, we will send seed for the cost of postage only. Just send us a description of your program along with your order.
