Matt Turner

Coach Matt Turner is in his ninth year of teaching and coaching at Millard South. Before returning to Millard South in 2015, Coach Turner served as a Varsity coach for nine years between Logan View and Schuyler Central High School. He served as a basketball assistant for the Patriots during their 2005-2006 season.  He is a 2001 Millard South graduate who played under one of Coach Larry Ribble's state qualifying teams. Coach Turner continued his playing career at Midland Lutheran College 2001-2005 where he earned all conference honors and is a member of the 1,000 point club.  Coach Turner earned a Master's Degree in Education from Wayne State in 2009, and has received an additional 39 graduate hours from the University of San Diego and UNO. Turner coaches within the PBC youth program and runs the summer skills academy.  He and his wife Ashley have three boys: Noah, Liam, and Jaxon.
