In this course, students will concentrate on the four areas of language arts - reading, writing, speaking, and listening - with a focus on viewing literary works through historical, archetypal, and psychological lenses.
While reading, emphasis will be placed on the discussion of structure, theme, plot, characters, and setting. While writing, students will use the writing process and concentrate on writing with good organization, clarity, and proper formatting.
In addition, students will study grammar and vocabulary each week.
