This document shows you the different ways you can print labels in mandarin.

MANDARIN M5 is designed to use the following Labels

Barcode Labels: "Avery 5160", everywhere in Mandarin that allows you to print barcodes
Spine Labels:
- - Report App: BrodArt 55-395-002 OR Demco #13704350 (#1421802) OR Avery 5160
  - Report Wizard: BrodArt 55-395-014 OR Demco #1494226
  - Record editor: BrodArt 55-395-002

Information are printed from the holding record, field 852 subfields k, h, i, m, s, t (Portrait mode)

***IMPORTANT NOTE*** To make sure the information will align correctly in the label sheet, set the following settings on the printer while previewing what is going to be printed:

- - Chrome: Set the "Scale" to "Custom" and below that set it to 100 (See image below)
  - Chrome: If you see a header with a link, click on "more options" from the menu and remove the check for headers. (See image below)
  - Firefox: "fit to page" do not select it as it will misalign the labels on the sheet.

Different ways on how to Print Labels on M5

RECORD EDITOR

While editing (edit) any record, you will see on the top right corner the option of "PRINT BARCODE" or "PRINT SPINE". (you have to be on the "advanced editor" view)

REPORTS - Please watch a brief video by clicking on the "?" icon
- EasyLabel

Number 10 on the menu, just enter the barcode numbers (or paste) you want to generate on the labels then click on the type of labels you want either spine or barcodes

*To make sure the information aligns properly on the label, follow the same settings mentioned above

M5 REPORT APP

To access it, select "Reports", and click "Launch M5 Report App" (Here is a short video on how to print on labels)

- REPORT Wizard - Spine labels ONLY (Printing barcodes from the report wizard is not recommended)

Number 9 on the menu.

o Option 1 is for spine and pocket labels for books (only BrodArt 55-395-014).

*From this point, just follow the prompts and as the final step add your email address and click on the Submit Report button. It will take like ~5 minutes to generate the report. You will be notified once the report is done via email. From report results, you can click on the report title to open it.

How to order Avery labels:

- http://www.avery.com/avery/en_us/Help-Center/?Ns=Rank#helpContact&int_id=footer-help-contactus. Here you will see all the contact information to reach someone at the company. This is quite a common label so you might be able to find them at your local office supply store.
