CP Personal and Professional Skills

The IB Career-related Programme (CP) was developed to complement the needs of students interested in pursuing a career-related education at the upper secondary school level.

The CP offers a learning and assessment model that promotes access to an IB education, school retention, responsibility for one's own actions, skills development, reflection on experiences, and self-esteem through meaningful achievements.

A key feature of the programme is that it provides flexibility to allow for local differences. Each school creates its own distinctive version of the CP to meet the needs, backgrounds and contexts of its students.
