There has been an increase in the number of bathroom-related accidents during the school day.
While we understand that accidents can happen, we kindly ask for your support in helping your child become more confident and self-sufficient in using the bathroom. This includes:
Recognizing when they need to use the restroom and asking to go in a timely manner
Managing clothing independently
Proper wiping and personal hygiene
Washing hands thoroughly with soap and water
While our staff is always available to support students in emergencies, we are not able to provide direct assistance with bathroom-related tasks.
We encourage you to provide a change of clothing in your child’s backpack if you feel it may be needed. Please take a few moments at home to review these routines with your child. Developing consistency in these skills helps promote independence and ensures a more comfortable and successful school experience for everyone.
