Rayna Horton is truly the light of the Millbury Junior/Senior High School community, and her journey is a powerful testament to growth, perseverance, and resilience. Throughout her time here, Rayna hasn't just been achieving; she's been transforming.
While she is a vital, driving force on both the Girls' Varsity Basketball and Varsity Softball teams, with the additional dedication to all of her free time on her weekends to AAU basketball, it's the discipline she built through sports that she channeled into her personal and academic life.
Rayna has navigated challenging times with grace and a fierce determination to rise above them. Her hard work has paid off tremendously, culminating in her senior year where she is soaring with high academic scores and maintaining a well-rounded schedule while also managing a part-time job.
Beyond her impressive resume, Rayna is known for her infectious personality. She was recently voted Class Clown for her Senior Superlatives, a title that speaks volumes about her ability to keep things light and lift the spirits of everyone around her. Whether she's sinking a basket or cracking a joke, Rayna reminds us that true leadership comes with a healthy dose of humor and that her magnetic presence is invaluable to her teams and the School Counseling Department.
Rayna's story isn't just about athletic wins and high marks; it's about the inspiring personal growth she has demonstrated. She is a shining example of a student who took control of her path, proving that true success is found in the ability to overcome struggles and finish strong. As she wraps up her final year, Rayna leaves a legacy of dedication for all students to follow.
Rayna is truly an inspiration and the School Counseling Department will not be the same once she graduates and pursues her dreams of attending college, the first in her family to do so.

Senior, Mathias, is a true testament to what it takes to be a Woolie, hardworking, determined, team player, and more!
Recently, despite suffering a knee injury, Mathias led his team to win the Clark Tournament and is now playing an integral role on their playoff run in hopes of winning the State Title. We are so grateful for your leadership and tenacity, Mathias!

Thanks for always putting your kindest self forward!
Thank you both for going out of your way to be a kind peer and always thinking about others.
As part of our Kindness presentations for 7th and 8th grade, we had our English teachers look for random acts of kindness. The students chosen received an award and were entered into a raffle! We plan on doing this weekly to encourage other students to spread kindness around the building!
We’re excited to announce our Random Acts of Kindness Award winners! These students have gone above and beyond to spread kindness and positivity in our school community. Let’s celebrate their efforts to make a difference, one kind act at a time.
