Rob Roy Academy offers two different scholarships for your upcoming 2025 graduates.
$1000.00 scholarships for our Cosmetology & Barber programs or,
$600 scholarships for our Esthetics Program
At Rob Roy Academy we offer Cosmetology, Barbering, and Esthetics programs. We pride ourselves on our achieved graduation rate of 89.58%, please see enclosed disclosure for your reference.
We often find that students who enter our programs excel with hands-on content. The typical student that inquiries into our programs tends to be creative, artistic, people-oriented, with an entrepreneurial spirit. Our programs teach beyond the boundaries of the beauty and barber industries, such as entrepreneurship and financial literacy as just a few examples.
We know that many of your students may be college bound. We are interested in partnering with you for those individuals who have expressed an interest in the beauty/barber industry, as this may be a fitting career direction in an environment where they may thrive.
Scholarships will be awarded to graduates with a sincere desire to enter the fields of Cosmetology, Barbering, or Esthetics. Below are the eligibility criteria for students applying for the scholarship:
Must be scheduled to graduate in the 2025 academic year.
Submit a completed admission application. (enclosed)
Enroll for either 1000 hours of Cosmetology, 1000 hours of Barbering or 600 hours of Esthetics.
Provide one letter of recommendation (ex. Guidance counselor, teacher, employer, non-family member)
Submit two of the following for review:
250+ Word Essay explaining their career goals and why they want to become either a Barber or Cosmetologist. And/Or,
2. Two pieces of creative work, such as pictures of hairstyles, nail work, or make up that the applicant has personally created. And/Or,
3. A 3-minute video telling RRA about the applicant, their career goals, and why they want to become a Barber or Cosmetologist.
Once a student submits the scholarship requirements to the Admissions Department at
eallain@rob-roy.com for consideration, the Admissions Department will be in contact with them for an interview. All scholarships are awarded at the completion of their program, students must enroll on or before the September 2025 class start date and are expected to retain the scholarship by meeting satisfactory academic progress.
Hundreds of available scholarships to be awarded for the 2025-26 academic year to students studying engineering, accounting, business, IT/cybersecurity or other courses of study for a career in the automotive field, as well as those training to become automotive, heavy duty or collision repair technicians.

Now in its 2nd year, the Collegium Scholarship Program, in collaboration with Scholarship America, is awarding up to two full-ride scholarships to Massachusetts high school seniors who plan on majoring in a STEM field. 2024-2025 National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association Scholar/Essay Application
Purpose of Scholarship:
In accordance with National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association’s (NIAAA) purpose to promote, facilitate, and increase the knowledge and understanding of the vital role of interscholastic athletics in the educational system, this scholarship program will foster and acknowledge the partnership between the NIAAA and secondary education. The scholarships will recognize the distinguished scholastic, leadership, and citizenship attributes of high school student athletes, and the importance of high school athletics in each student’s life.
Criteria:
1. Applicant must be a Senior
2. Applicant must have achieved at least two (2) of the following:
a. minimum of B+ average;
b. Ranked in the top 25% of class;
c. ACT score of 24 or an SAT score of 1100 (Math and Reading)
3. Applicant must have participated in two sports for at least two years in each sport
4. Applicant must have earned at least one varsity letter in each of two sports
5. Applicant must complete attached scholar/essay application
6. Applicant must have a letter of recommendation from the high school athletic administrator/director
7. School athletic director must be an NIAAA member and a member of their respective state athletic administrators association
8. The principal or athletic director must sign the application to insure that the academic information submitted is accurate
9. Due Date: February 10, 2025. All applications MUST be submitted through FinalForms (see attached instructions).
MSSADA will award $500 to the two Massachusetts winners.
In 2025, the Taco Bell Foundation will be awarding up to $14 million in Live Más Scholarships. There will be one application, selection and award period per year. Here are the dates:
Application period: November 1, 2024 to 5:00 p.m. PST on January 8, 2025
Selection period: January 9, 2025 – April 23, 2025
Notification period: Recipients will be notified on or about April 28, 2025

Foundation 649 is a nonprofit that provides scholarships to Asian American and Pacific Islander students.
They're currently accepting applications for the 2025 scholarship to graduating Asian American/Pacific Islander high schoolers (4 awards of $1,000 USD over 4 years).
Five recipients will be selected
Each recipient will receive an award of $4,000 USD spread over 4 years
The award must be renewed each year to receive successive funds (details to come)

10 entrants will be selected as finalists for video call interviews by March 31, 2025
Recipients are announced by April 15, 2025

The Hanover Insurance Group is proud to recognize and reward students for academic achievement, demonstrated leadership and a commitment to community service. We are pleased to make our community scholarship program available to public school students in Worcester County.
We provide one-time scholarships of $1,000-$1,500 to high school seniors who attend public schools in Worcester County.
The application deadline is Feb. 3. We will announce the award winners in April.

The Hagan Scholarship is a nationwide need-based merit scholarship, providing recipients “regardless of nationality” with the opportunity to achieve their goals and graduate college debt-free. The scholarship provides up to $7,500 each semester for up to 8 consecutive semesters. Applicants must graduate from a high school located in the United States. Eligible high schools include public, private, charter, magnet, and STEM schools. The Applicant’s Adjusted Gross Household Income reported for 2023 Federal Income Tax Purposes must not have exceeded $100,000. Free workshops, Free Schwab Brokerage Accounts, and Free Study Abroad provide recipients with a practical understanding of important life skills not typically covered in the school curriculum. Hagan Scholars have attended 637 colleges and universities located in 49 states and the District of Columbia.
Hagan Scholars who graduate college while in the Hagan Scholarship Program can apply for a Hagan Graduate Scholarship good for up to four additional semesters in college receiving up to $7,500 each semester.

All Big Y scholarships recognize academic merit and achievement. Big Y has awarded over $6 million to over 8,200 students through the scholarship program.
In the last five years, employee and employee dependents have received scholarships equaling over $573,000!
Each year (April) $1,500 grants will be awarded to graduating high school seniors in the United States, who plan to continue their education at accredited post-secondary colleges, or universities within the United States.
All graduating seniors in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts who are seeking a college degree or job training are eligible to compete. Scholarship awards this year total over half a million dollars.
To qualify, students must be a senior in high school, fill out the online application and then take our exam. Applicants must register in advance at www.massaflcio.org/scholarships. We will be accepting applications through Friday, December 20, 2024. The deadline is firm, and no late registrations will be accepted. The exam consists of 30 multiple choice questions and one written essay. All questions will be selected from the information in the study guide.
Exams will be administered online, and should be offered to registered students between Monday, February 3, 2025, and Friday February 7, 2025. Once again, we will be using Classmarker to administer the exams online. Paper tests will be available upon request. Students will need access to a computer or tablet and all testing should be taken in school under supervision from an exam proctor. Further testing instructions will be sent to exam proctors in the last week of January.

To be considered for a scholarship, each student must:
Be a 2024 high school graduate
Anticipate being a full-time student at an accredited, degree-granting institution of higher education in the fall of 2024
Anticipate studying in a business or financial field
Demonstrate achievement and high standards in academics, extracurricular activities and community involvement
Submit an official transcript and GPA from their guidance office
Submit a completed application and a one-page essay based on the following prompt:

The Discovery Museum Scholarship looks to celebrate young learners who embody the mission and values of the Museum by supporting them on next leg of their educational journeys—whatever that might be. We are grateful for the support of families in our community for more than 40 years and are honored to support their children’s continued learning in this way.
All high school juniors and seniors residing in MA are eligible to apply. Award money can be used for any educational or developmental experience, such as college or trade school tuition, travel expenses to support an exciting volunteer opportunity, or costs to provide a learning experience for young children. Four award recipients will receive a one-time, $1,500 award. For one of the four awards, preference will be given to Discovery Museum past or current employees or volunteers.

The Mark Bavis Leadership Foundation was created to help deserving young men and women excel in their quest to improve themselves, their school or their community.
The scholarship is available to any high school student in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. It is awarded on the basis of need, and is not academically based. In addition, the Foundation will give more serious consideration to those students who have made efforts to make a difference in their communities and/or have shown leadership qualities within their school or community.
The deadline to submit an application for the scholarship is March 15th, 2024.
Winners will be notified by May 15th, 2024.

The Stephen Phillips Memorial Scholarship Fund offers renewable, four-year scholarships to students with financial need who display academic achievement, a sustained commitment to serving others (in school, the community or at home), a consistent history of part-time work, a display of maturity and skills if faced with a challenge, and leadership qualities. Awards range from $2,000 - $17,000.
Applicants may attend college anywhere in the United States, as long as they are seeking their first bachelor's degree at a four-year college.
Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
Applicants must have financial need- applicants should use the financial calculator to determine eligibility.

Citizens Scholarship
Citizens wants to honor the dedication of students and families pursuing higher learning. We are awarding a Grand Prize of $15,000 to use towards school expenses and a monthly prize of $2,500! It takes less than 60 seconds to apply!
Additionally, each quarter a student who meets the required criteria for the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Scholarship Prize will be eligible to win a $2,500 prize for use towards school expenses. Check it out and see official rules for details.
