The mission of the Millbury Public Schools Guidance Department is to provide a comprehensive program that will assist all students in acquiring skills, knowledge, and attitudes needed to become effective students, responsible citizens, productive workers and lifelong learners. The school counseling program addresses academic, career, and personal/social needs of all students and is committed to supporting every individual's unique abilities and to valuing their diversity.  

We believe all students have worth and should be given opportunities to learn skills and strategies so they may become productive and well-adjusted members of the community. Opportunities for students should address their needs and be provided in a caring, supportive environment as an integral part of the total school experience.
