Scholarships will be added to this site as the information is received by Milaca High School. Most of our local scholarships begin to be advertised after Winter Break. Check back regularly for new additions!
The biggest scholarship program available to Milaca High School students in the Milaca Scholarship Foundation/ Dollars for Scholars Program. The application for this year's graduates will be available in January.
The Elks National Foundation (ENF) has kicked off the 2024 scholarship year. Here are the details!
Most Valuable Student (MVS) Contest:
The 2024 MVS application is now open. Applications can be found online at enf.elks.org/MVS. The application deadline is November 13, 2023.
The Elks National Foundation (ENF) awards 500 four-year scholarships based on academics, leadership, and financial need. National awards range from $1,000 per year to $7,500 per year. The national awards will be announced in April 2024.
Local Scholarships from the St. Cloud Elks Lodge #2843 will be announced in the Spring.
MVS scholarships are for students pursuing a four-year degree on a full-time basis (minimum of 12 semester hours), at a U.S. college or university next school year. Some important applicant details include:
Current high school seniors (or equivalent) who are citizens of the United States are eligible to apply.
Applicants do not have to be related to a member of the Elks.
Male and female students compete separately.
Applicants select from a list of the Lodges closest to their home address zip code. Please have your students choose St. Cloud Lodge #2843 as their sponsoring Lodge. Complete details can be found at enf.elks.org/MVS.
Legacy Awards – The Legacy Awards program begins on September 1, 2023. Legacy Awards provide $4,000 scholarships for children and grandchildren of dues-paying Elk members. The ENF offers a total of 350 national awards. The application deadline is February 5, 2024. Please visit enf.elks.org/Leg for more details and the application link.

The Rox Community Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization administered by the St. Cloud Rox Baseball Club with corporate support from Wells, Miller Buick GMC, CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen), and NAPA Central.
During the current school year, the Rox Community Foundation will award “20” individual college scholarships for senior high school students, EACH valued at $1,000. They will be awarded in the following categories: Arts, Athletics, Automotive, Disabilities, Education, and Volunteerism.

Minnesota Association of Townships Scholarship Program
The Minnesota Association of Townships awards up to five $2,000.00 scholarships to high school juniors. Participants will submit a written essay on the topic of the role of townships in local government.

Unite for Success 2023 Scholarship - Central Minnesota Farm Show: For students interested in the Agriculture field this is a $1,000.00 scholarship to pursue that. Students must maintain a 3.0 or higher GPA.

East Central Energy :
Has an opportunity to win one of THREE $1,500.00 Scholarships. The deadline to apply is April 1st, 2024. See pdf below. Scholarship eligibility and program requirements
1. Students who are being considered for an ECE scholarship must be an ECE member or son or daughter of an ECE member. Please provide the student name, address and phone number as well as their parent/guardian name, physical address and phone number to ECE before the student is notified of the scholarship. ECE will verify their eligibility.
2. Students must pick up a form from the Student Service Office or ask your counselor. Complete it and give it back to their school counselor.
Bill Sandy Pheasants Forever Scholarship:
Rum River Pheasants Forever Chapter 19 will award up to Four $1,000.00 Scholarships. For students seeking a degree in the area of natural resources, biology, wildlife management or forestry. Applicants must attend a four year college or a two year and have a 2.5 or higher GPA.
Deadline is April 1, 2024 applications will be in the Student Service Office.
Benton Communications Scholarship: Will be issuing FOUR - $750.00 Scholarships whose parents or legal guardians have communications service with Benton Communications.
To apply for a scholarship, the senior will need to meet the following criteria:
§ Parents or legal guardians have telephone service with Benton Telephone
§ Grade point average must be at least 2.5 (transcript needs to be included)
§ Short essay 50- 100 words of their career plans
§ Include a graduation picture (for publication purposes if they are the recipient of the scholarship)

Minnesota Telecom Alliance Foundation scholarship program: Will be offering Six $2,000.00 scholarships eligible to applicants majoring in either Telecommunications or Information Technology (IT) at a university, college, or technical college and be a Minnesota resident.

East Central Minnesota PFLAG Scholarship: East Central Minnesota PFLAG will be awarding up to $500.00 scholarships to LGBTQ seniors enrolled in the surrounding Mille Lacs counties.
PFLAG SCHOLARSHIP ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
§ High school senior at one of the participating high schools
§ First-year student enrolled in an area community college
§ Making satisfactory academic progress
§ Self identifies as LGBTQ
§ Will be enrolled in a post-secondary institution the following fall

Catholic United Financial Foundation: The Alexis Ann Hasser Memorial Scholarship
An opportunity to win a $1,000.00 scholarship for a student attending a 2 year or 4-year degree that is studying in either Social Work or Psychology major.

Jim's Team 4 Diabetes Scholarship: They will be awarding up to 10 $500.00 scholarship for a senior that has type 1 diabetes.
Eligibility Requirement's:
High school senior with type 1 diabetes.
Going to attend a four year university, college, technical or trade school based in the USA.
Must be in good academic standing
Letter from Physician or CDE with application that certifies student's diagnosis and endorses your ability to manage T1D.
Student to provide essay with application describing the impact Type 1 Diabetes has had on your life and why you should be considered for this scholarship.

OES Kedron Chapter 120 Scholarship: 1 - $1,500.00 Scholarship for High School Seniors currently enrolled in Princeton, Milaca or Cambridge who will be attending a college or vocational school for the coming year. This scholarship is based on academic achievement, community service and Masonic affiliation*. Please include supporting documentation of your academic and community activities, letters of recommendation, resume or work history and a list of . any other awards or scholarships you are receiving.

M Health Fairview Northland: Will award 9 scholarships (2-$500 and 7-$1000) to high school students and adults who are pursuing careers in health care.
Applications are open to students in the M Health Fairview Northland Medical Center service area and to employees of Fairview Northland Medical Center and their children, regardless of residence. Applicants must be a high school graduate or graduating from high school this year and attend, or plan to attend, an accredited school in the 2023-2024 school year.
These Scholarships will be selected, and recipients notified in May/June. Money for scholarships comes from funds raised by the M Health Fairview Northland Medical Center and the Medical Staff.
