Mrs. Sabatier has released a new Principal's Message! Under the Home tab, scroll down to Message from the Principal to read it, or click here!

An excerpt from the LCOE (Lake County Office of Education) website:

UPDATED: March 18, 2020 9:00 AM

Governor Newsom stated in his press conference last night, “Don’t anticipate schools are going to open up in a week. It’s unlikely that many of these schools — few if any — will open before the summer break.”

Unless Governon Newsom issues an Executive Order requiring all California schools to stay closed until summer break, that decision remains under local control and governance. Lake County School District Superintendents will remain in close contact with Lake County Health Officer, Dr. Gary Pace, through the Lake County Department of Public Health. They will work in collaboration to make the best decisions for the safety and well-being of our Lake County students and community.

Reminder that Lake County Office of Education Deputy Superintendent, Cynthia Lenners, and her amazing staff of professional Educational Specialists have put together a great document with supplemental online resources for students from TK-12, to help during these school dismissals. ACCESS THOSE RESOURCES.

An excerpt from the letter below from Dr. Miller:

The safety and wellness of students, families, and staff are the highest priorities at Middletown Unified School District. Due to increased concerns about the COVID-19 situation and the potential impact on our schools and community, it is with a heavy heart that I announce that we will suspend all site-based instruction in Middletown Unified School District schools beginning Monday, March 16 through Friday, April 10, 2020. All sports, facility use, after school activities, after school care, and field trips will be canceled during this time as well. Prior to April 10, we will evaluate the situation and make a determination if we are able to resume site-based instruction.
