Applications for summer 2018 are now being accepted.
This is the online application for the Miami University Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry NSF REU Program. Please complete this online application, including a personal statement of career goals and reasons for participating in the program.There is no way to save your application and come back to it later. To apply, you will need to(1) complete a personal statement offline before you start so that you can cut and past it into the appropriate window during the application process.(2) have an unofficial copy of your transcript(s) to be uploaded with the application. This includes transcripts from your current university/college, but also other university/colleges that you have attended. If selected, you will be requested to have an official transcript from your current university sent.(3) have the names and email addresses of two faculty members who have agreed to write recommendation letters to be submitted online. The student application will generate automatic e-mail to recommenders explaining the process. You will receive a confirmation email when each recommendation is received.
