IB is an accelerated course of study that prepares students for the rigorous learning of college. While most public schools offer AP classes, only a few offer the IB program. IB is used by elite schools around the world to provide a more comprehensive approach to education. IB’s mission to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect compliments Mott Hall’s mission to prepare all students to create a just and equitable world free from systemic racism and all other forms of oppression through a rigorous, balanced education.
