I am from Winston-Salem, North Carolina. I graduated from East Carolina University in 2005. I have taught third grade, kindergarten and first grade. This is my second year teaching 2nd grade!!
My family and I live in Mooresville. I am married to my college sweetheart and have two beautiful kids! Grayson is 2 1/2 years old and Raegan is seven years old.

Dear Families,
I am very excited to be working with your child at Rocky River Elementary. This is my fourteenth year teaching in Mooresville Graded School District and my seventh year at Rocky River.
I believe that each child brings their own unique talents, experiences and personality to share in our classroom. Learning is a hands-on process in which children are active participants. For this to be successful, parents, students and teachers must stay in close contact.
I work extremely hard to establish our classroom as a safe, compassionate environment where we all do our best. I have high, clear, consistent expectations and am always amazed at the quality of work children are able to do. I look forward to learning with your child and sharing curriculum with them that is enriching and sparks their interests. One of my goals is to help create good citizens who have a love of learning and have fun!
