Garden Committee Update!: (Chair TBD):
The MELS Community Garden is ready to grow! Last year we were awarded two grants! One is a grant from the Cititzens Committee to expand and sustain our composting project. The other grant is from the New York Restoration Project's Citywide Greening Project. This grant will fund the addition of an outdoor learning space, update garden beds, add furniture, modify landscaping, and overall beautification of the garden. More info to come as the school year gets underway!
