Welcome! My name is Jessica Bartha and I am the Physical Therapist for the all of the Medway schools. I have lived in Medway for 10 years with my husband Steve, or “Mr. Bartha” as the children will often hear, my two children Jocelyn and Cooper, 2 cats and our dog
. I grew up just outside of Philadelphia and moved up to Boston when I went to college. My Daughter is currently in 11th grade and my son is in 9th. When I am not at school, I spend most of my time watching my daughter compete in karate, play the bass clarinet in the band and build the sets for the musicals and my son play soccer. I love to read books, visit my family and friends, ski in the winter, run in road races, be active outside with my kids and try to attempt some home improvement projects (this is really Mr. Bartha's job but I try to help;-).
A brief background about my work experience…
I attended Northeastern University and graduated with my Masters degree in Physical Therapy. I started off my career in Early Intervention (working with kids birth to age 3 in their homes) and decided to move into the private sector. I worked in a pediatric outpatient setting for 10 years. I have worked with many different types of patients from kids with disabilities, to sports injuries, to concussions, to ballet dancers, and even grandparents ;) This will be my 10th year working in Medway Public Schools and I am very excited to meet all of you.
Please feel free to contact me anytime. The school phone number is 508-533-3243 and my email is Jbartha@medwayschools.org . If it is an emergency or you have any last minute changes with daily routine etc. please contact the school directly as I may not be able to check my email frequently throughout the day but will respond to you as quickly as possible. I also use SeeSaw to stay in touch with families and you can send me a message in SeeSaw which will act like a text message to me.
I look forward to a wonderful year! Remember to have fun and keep moving!!
Regards,
Jessica Bartha
