Physical Education

Welcome to your introduction into unit 1 and 2 of Physical Education in 2026. The year will consist of a combination of classroom work, excursions and practical activities that will cover all the Areas of Study for Units 1 and 2.

Holiday Homework

For holiday homework you will be required to complete the following:

1. Complete the Orientation booklet found below. You can do this by filling in the hard copy given to you during "O" week or if you are late to enrol or lose your Orientation booklet you can print & fill it in and hand to your teacher on our first lesson in 2026 OR you can complete the booklet digitally and email it to your teacher on our first lesson back in 2026.

2. Finish the Lab activity that was completed during orientation week - this is found at the back of your Orientation booklet. If you don't have results please get in touch with someone who was present during 'O' week and get their results and complete the discussion questions yourself

3. Finish Anatomical Movements Annotation Activity where you capture an image of a sporting movement of your choice and label as many anatomical structures and movements as you possibly can.

4. Learn all the major muscles and bones in the holiday homework booklet. Be prepared for your first SAC that will be in week 5 of 2026. It will include the structure and function of the musculoskeletal system.
