University of Louisville
Metropolis Elementary has joined the No Excuses University to promote college readiness within our students.  Each classroom grades K-6th has adopted a college to educate students about through out the year.  No longer will the question be, "Am I going to college?" but, "Where do I want to go to college?".  The program focuses on encouragement of higher education through exposure to universities throughout the United States.  Mrs. Hicks's class is a  proud sponsor of U of L.  Go Cards!
