Success in LAL is dependent upon student performance on projects, writing assignments, tests, quizzes, homework, and consistent class participation.
The ELA 8 grading system is as follows:
- 55%: Tests, projects, final writing assignments
- 35%: Classwork, quizzes
- 10%: Homework
Please check the Parent Portal to view your child's grades. Grades are based on a points system and are updated often.
